Since , nobody bothers to read this boring blog this days, i’ll probably write them down here.

Faith. That’s something i’ve learnt only last year.

And Faith is like a bar of soap. At first, its firm and hard. However, life’s bullshit will make it wet and slippery. Next thing you know, ‘faith’ keeps slipping off from your hands. Desperate you keep trying your best to hang on tight to it. But when troubles get heavier, the soap gets slippery and wet and it continues like that until the ‘soap’ gets smaller and finally it disappears.

Then, you have a personal encounter with God. Let’s say, in a retreat.  He replaces that soap to a rock. Your faith becomes stronger. It never gets affected by the things that bothers you. But, this is only for a while. Eventually, that rock turns into a soap and you try your best  to hold on to it. But, it keeps slipping out of your hands and it gets smaller and it disappears……

Again.

That is Faith….to me.

Something that i would highly recommend to anyone who is clueless on what to do during the annual work leave. Leave so far, i’ve been to Cathedral of the Good shepherd and Church of Saint Peter and Paul. Also, i’ve been to SIngapore Arts Museum and paid $10 to view the exhibition and join  the tour.

Yesterday, out of randomness, me and haz decided to pay nab a visit in Ktph. This  decison happened right in the midst of getting our hair treatment done. ANd out of randomenss, i bought a blue dress from Mango in ION Orchard, even though i was eyeing for the green dress. Out of randomness, I’ve bought two pairs of Levi’s jeans for $199. FYI, each pair cost $150. Good price for two, no?

Out of randomess, i’ve borrowed three books to read.

June is a rough start for me at work. To be honest, i’m getting really demotivated. WHat’s the point of slogging hours when its always a thankless outcome?  I am not looking forward to be in this field for years.

One more chapter and i’ll be done reading The Iliad. If only my  current laptop isn’t spoilt. I’ll be typing out drafts by now. Now, it’s old fashion writing on a blank paper.

I can’t wait for annual leave.  I’m going to spend, spend and spend. So much for savings.

“Oh look! A big yellow balloon. Wait, why isn’t it moving.” Puts on spectacles. “Wtf?! It”s a moon! Wait, why does the moon look like that?”

Yeah, that happended.

I really wanna watch a play in the Esplanade. One with actors, stage props, dramatic lines, heavy make-up and lady gaga costumes.And i am going to do that when my annual leave comes. I really wanna watch a play.

It’s about time i take up my personal hobby of reading novels and writimg seriously. No more rotten language from me. Screw medical terms. I rather fall prostrate to the wonders of Literature. Right now, I’m  reading Homer: The Iliad; Robert Fitzgerald translation.

Wish me luck

It feels like a decade since i’ve read a good novel and the one called The Angel’s Game by Carlos Ruiz Zafon really did resurrect me back to the wonders of literature.  How i love to indulge myself in a pleasant , grotesque and blood curling thriller for hours. By doing so, become oblivious to the realities surrounding me. Doesn’t matter if reality is in the form of a beauty or a beast. DOesn’t matter if work was a chore or i had a quarrel with a family, friend nor colleague. Heaven knows that reading and writing is the only moment when i become more of a saint than a sinner.

Oh, well.

I had a good lunch at Nando’s with Yi ting today. If you had tasted the garlic chili sauce served by them, i’m sure you would have agreed with me that they might have stolen the sauce from the chicken rice stall across the street. Neverthless, the chicken was superb. Juicy and tender, hot as i have ordered it to be. The sides were a joke compared to the main dish. But, i must say that they make really good mocktails.

Final thery re-test is next wednesday and i still have not studied for it. I said re-test for i have failed my previous test, by only two points.

Bummer.

Of well, that’s all for now.

Most of your allowances is spent on bills, bills and more friggin’ bills.

Just a few days before i’ve got my gratuity from my PE contract, i’ve got a stupid letter stating that i”ve got more than $1000 of loan to pay. Fine, i admit that i’ve forgotten about the loan payment. But, that is not a good excuse for you to inform me after ONE YEAR later. Retarded much?!

I have to admit i’m really good at slacking. And nothing hits the top of the SLack List by watching anime and blogging while listening to heavy rock music. If you diagree, then it’s your own damn problem.

It’s been a busy month for me.  But, i’mlucky to have met up with nab, zozo and haz. Only von is missing. Vonnie, where art thou. I miss you my ‘crazy’ nurse.  GEt it? I don’t mean literally.

WHen i get my next paycheck, i’m going to buy shoes. Especially the ones for work. I know the ones i’m wearing now looks like crap. ANd i know that some of you have the strong urge to throw it in the trash without me looking.  I will buy a new pair. But in the meantime, leave my shoes alone!

Rarr, my next few weeks is packed! WAH!!!

I’ve got itchy and painful mosquito bites on my fingers. GO DIE MOSQUITO. GO DIE!

I threw away the the slip of paper where i wrote my  roster from 18/4 until the end of may.

I hate the weather. SUcks how it can really bring out the worst of me. I look and feel pissed. Smiling seems like a chore and being nice is as good as acting stupid. Ok, i too don’t get what i’m trying to say here.

However, listening to bands such as Switchfoot and Red Jumpsuit Apparatus helps.
